When you receive the gate, you may notice a gap between the lock and the door frame. This gap is normal because this gate is installed through reaction force. That is why we remind you not to cut the zip tie on the bars, for easier installation! Rest assured, the gap will disappear after the installation is completed.

The Cumbor Baby Gate is designed for your convenience. As you install, do not cut the plastic tie holding the gate in place. When installed with the pressure mounting system, the gate can remove any time without difficulty.

First, take measurements of your door. If needed, add the extensions. Next, place the gate where you plan to install it. Use a pencil to mark the position of the wall cups and screw holes. Use a drill to punch the holes. Insert the wall anchors and, using a hammer, tap them in place. Attach wall cups with screws and a screwdriver. Place the gate into the wall cups. Rotate the tension bolts to increase the pressure. Use the provided key to tighten the tension bolts until the gap disappears.

A distance of 1.89 inches between the supports ensures the gate has a superior weight bearing capacity and remains sturdy even when leaned on by your curious kids or playful pets. The Cumbor Safety Gate with 3 Extensions has a Main Gate width of 27.95 inches, Extension ONE width of 7.87 inches, and Extension TWO width of 2.75 inches. The door is not suitable for a width range of less than 29.7" or greater than 46". We recommend you install our gate on solid and flat pillars and walls. (It is not recommended to install between curved or unbearable items)

Important Reminders: Indoor use only. Please do not cut off the tape before completing the installation. For maximum safety, we recommend a perforated installation with the Wall Cups firmly fixed to the wall. If you need to remove the gates, tie together the gate latch and the frame with strings first, then loosing the pressure bolts.
