It can be used against banisters, railings, balustrades, and other round supports, as well as on angled wall corners or other unorthodox places where a Y-shape spindle rod will fit.

The M8 (8mm) size fits gates with an 8-9mm diameter opening, while the M10 (10mm) size fits gates with a 10mm diameter opening. Check the compatibility information to ensure you get the right size for your gate.
