The kit includes solid clamps with metal bolts, which are used by professional childproofers everywhere, as opposed to inexpensive plastic straps.

The kit is designed to fit posts that are at least 2 3/4 inches wide and no more than 3 5/8 inches wide. Please measure your post before ordering to ensure a proper fit.

One kit is required for each post that you are attaching your gate to. The kit includes the following components: 1 - 36-inch wood strip, 2 square clamps, 2 wood inserts for the clamps, 1 set of round adapters, 4 bolts, 1 set of interlocking shims, 2 finish washers, 2 - 1 1/2-inch screws, and 2 - 1 3/4-inch screws. The screws are for attaching the wood rail to the clamps, not for securing the post itself.

Full installation instructions are included in the product images, which you can review to learn more about the installation process. Please note that the gate itself is not included with the kit.
