Extra Tall & Wide Safety Pet and Baby Gate - Gray

The Summer Extra Tall & Wide Baby and Dog Gate is designed to keep your loved ones safe and secure in style. Measuring 38" tall, including a decorative arch, this gray metal safety gate conveniently helps contain children and pets while complementing your home decor. With a variety of included extensions, the gate can be configured to fit spaces ranging from 29.5 to 53 inches wide.

The gate can be quickly and easily installed in doorways or hallways using the included no-drill pressure mount system with adhesive wall cups that help protect your walls from damage. Alternatively, it can be used at the top or bottom of stairs with the included hardware (required for safe stairway installation).

Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included) are a drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, and measuring tape. Please note that the gate will appear bent at first, but this is not a defect and will be corrected upon proper installation.

The Summer Extra Tall & Wide Safety Dog and Baby Gate is designed for extra-tall and wide openings, and it is recommended to measure the opening prior to purchase to ensure a proper fit. The gate fits openings ranging from 29.5 to 53 inches wide and is 38 inches tall, including the arch.

The 20-inch wide door can swing both ways, and it stays open when engaged at greater than 90 degrees. When opened less than 90 degrees, the door will auto-close. A stopper is included to prevent the door from swinging over stairs when installed at the top of stairs.

The door locks securely to keep babies, toddlers, and pets contained, with narrowly spaced bars that prevent them from squeezing through. Adults can open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up on the door.

The Summer Extra Tall & Wide Safety Dog and Baby Gate is not designed to fit openings that are 33-33.5 inches, 37-37.5 inches, 41-41.5 inches, 45-45.5 inches, or 49-49.5 inches wide. The gate has been 3rd party safety tested and approved.
